“Dhum” means to smoke in traditional Indian medicine, while “Pan” means to drink. The words “Dhum Pan” stand for medical smoking or medicated herbal smoke. It is mostly used to treat disorders with a vata or kapha dominance.
Procudure :-
1) Use the Dhumvarti made using the medicated herb. All these herbs are suitable to improve the upper respiratory tract.
2) Allow the patient to inhale these medicated fumes through their nostrils.
3) Exhale the fumes strictly by mouth.
