Karna refers to ‘ear’ and poorana means ‘filling.’ Karnapoorana literally means filling the ears with medicated oils. In simple terms, the internal ear is given a lubricating herbal bath. It is a traditional Ayurvedic treatment for ear ailments and can also be included in daily health care regimens.
Procudure :-
1) Gently massage the head, neck, and ear of the patient with suggested herbal oil. This process will enhnace the blood circulation and will relax the ear muscles.
2) Ears are filled with warm medicated Ayurveda oil by poring drops until the ears are fully filled.
3) Excessive oil will be drained by the therapist.
