Procudure
- Preparation of Medicated Liquid: A special medicated liquid is prepared using herbs and other ingredients known for their beneficial effects on eye health. The composition may vary based on the individual’s eye condition and the practitioner’s recommendations.
- Positioning: The person undergoing Netra Dhara is typically made to lie down comfortably on a special table. The eyes are kept open throughout the procedure.
- Dhara: The medicated liquid is poured in a continuous and rhythmic stream over the eyes from a specific height and angle. The liquid flows gently over the closed eyelids and the surrounding area.
- Duration: The duration of Netra Dhara varies, but it is generally performed for a specific period, allowing the eyes to absorb the medicinal properties of the liquid.
- Post-Dhara Care: After the therapy, the eyes may be covered with a clean cloth, and it is advisable to rest for a short period.
